Masihisahitya provides hands-on preservation, non-destructive optical spectroscopy analysis, paper binding reconstruction using organic flax fibers, and climate-controlled archiving protocol development for historical manuscripts, rare paper collections, and textile-bound books. All services are performed on a per-project basis as agreed in a signed service agreement.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the condition, provenance, and ownership of any item submitted for analysis or restoration. You must ensure you have the legal right to authorize preservation work on the item. Masihisahitya is not liable for pre-existing damage or undisclosed conditions.
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project giving rise to a claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of value, loss of data, or damage to items caused by events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, theft, or mishandling by third parties). Our methods are non-destructive by design, but no process is guaranteed to prevent all deterioration over time.
All analysis reports, spectral data, and restoration documentation produced by Masihisahitya remain our intellectual property. We grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the results for personal or institutional reference. We may use anonymized data for research and publication, but will not disclose your identity or specific item details without your consent.
Either party may terminate a project agreement with 14 days written notice. If work has already begun, you are responsible for payment for services rendered up to the termination date. Masihisahitya may terminate immediately if you breach these terms or provide misleading information about an item.
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email if you are an active client.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Masihisahitya operates. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
